RESERVATIONS

Please read the details below the booking widget before making a reservation.

We offer online booking for tables between 2-6 people up to 3 months in advance. Please call us on 0131 334 3823 to reserve for any other party sizes or if you can’t find any availability online.

Walk-in’s are welcome, however, If you plan on dining with us we recommend giving us a call to reserve prior to your arrival as we have limited space to wait for tables if there is nothing available upon your arrival.

Our schedule works on a time slot system. Therefore, we may not be able to offer you the time you are looking for, however, we will find something as close to that time as possible.
Parties of 2-3 will have a 90min allocated slot
Parties of 4-8 will have a 120min allocated slot*
Parties of 9+ will have a 150min allocated slot*

* Children under 14 are not counted as adults towards sitting times. E.g 2 adults + 4 children will be allocated 90 mins.

To ensure all our guests have a comfortable dining experience, please note that we have limited space around our tables for strollers and prams; you may be asked to leave them near the entrance, so we kindly recommend calling us in advance to check if we can accommodate your pram at the table.

Please inform us in the comments box if you have requirements such as high chairs, wheel chair access to tables, allergies & dietary notes, guide dogs etc

We are a small, independent, family-run restaurant relying upon bookings being honoured by our guests or sufficient notice being given of any required changes to reservations. For online reservations, we require your debit/credit card details. We request 24 hours’ notice of cancellation or amendment, we cannot reschedule bookings within 24 hours of the original booking and will still need to apply the cancellation fee of £10 per person.

For bookings 7+ people, we will require a non-refundable deposit of £10 per head paid over the phone. This deposit will then be fully deducted from your bill on the night you dine with us. For tables of 7+ we require 48 hours notice or the cancellation fee will be applied. 

We recommend reserving well in advance for parties of 10+ people.

UPON SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETING A RESERVATION, YOU WILL RECEIVE AN AUTOMATED CONFIRMATION EMAIL. WHILE YOU DO NOT TYPICALLY NEED TO PRESENT THIS UPON ARRIVAL, THIS EMAIL SERVES AS YOUR OFFICIAL PROOF OF BOOKING. IN THE EVENT OF A SYSTEM ERROR OR BOOKING DISPUTE, CUSTOMERS MAY BE REQUIRED TO SHOW THEIR CONFIRMATION EMAIL TO HONOUR THE RESERVATION. IF YOU DO NOT SEE YOUR CONFIRMATION IN YOUR INBOX SHORTLY AFTER BOOKING, PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK OR SPAM FOLDER BEFORE CALLING US FOR SUPPORT.

To CANCEL a reservation you made online, please call us at your earliest convenience on 0131 334 3823. Opening hours apply.

Please arrive on time for your booking, we offer a 15 minute grace period, after this we will release the table. If you are running late, feel free to give us a call and we will hold your table for you, however, this may limit your choices on the menu as it may not allow you enough time to dine from our Banquet Menu or other dishes which require a bit more time.

We are a fully licensed restaurant and do not allow guests to bring their own beverages.

We do not accept requests for specific tables.

We currently do not offer any private dining/parties.
